About the Wood

Rosewood is a strong wood that is commonly used in musical instruments (such as guitars and marimbas), billiard cues, fine furniture and luxury flooring. There are different species of rosewood. The best known rosewood - Brazilian Rosewood - is now a CITES-listed endangered species. Another classic rosewood is (East) Indian Rosewood.
